According to reports, the star had a planned cesarean and welcomed her baby boy at around 11pm last night. The newborn's name is yet to be revealed, but the couple are expected to release a statement later today. Fellow footballer Lionel Messi was among the first to congratulate the couple, writing on Twitter:
"Congratulations @shakira and @3gerardpique on the birth of your son.."
