4. Chimamanda Ngozi-Adichie

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a Nigerian novelist, nonfiction writer and short story writer. She has been called “the most prominent” of a “procession of critically acclaimed young anglophone writers. A powerful literary voice, her novel Half of a Yellow Sun, was awarded the 2007 Orange Prize for Fiction.

She was featured in Beyonce’s last album in a track titled ‘Flawless’ where she spoke on women empowerment.
