Video Exposes How Nigerian Troops Killed Onitsha Youth And Cover-up Crime [WATCH]

A new video has emerged showing Naval officers shooting sporadically to scare away residents from what appears to be a homicide crime scene.

In the video, said to have been recorded by an anonymous citizen, it shows officers of the Nigerian Navy shooting to protect the scene of a homicide at Obodoukwu Road by Ogbudike Street in Onitsha, Anambra State.

According to residents, the officers shot at a crowd of youngsters who were celebrating the release order of Radio Biafra director, Nnamdi Kanu. The youth, whose body is seen laying in the street was shot and killed.

Activists and pro-Biafra groups say that on Thursday, December 17, 2015 Nigerian troops shot and killed five unharmed pro-Biafra protesters who were celebrating the order by an Abuja Federal Court for the unconditional release of Kanu, leader of one of the leading Biafra groups in the country, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Kanu has been in detention for more than 3 months, following his arrest by Nigeria’s secret police, the Department of State for Security Services (DSS). The DSS has disobeyed several court orders for the release of Kanu.

Leading human rights group, Intersociety, revealed on Friday that soldiers had stormed the hospital where victims of their shooting were receiving treatment and abducted the wounded and corpses of victims to an unknown destination.
