Men, get in here! Ladies, I had to do this because some of these our “brothers” really need help. I have watched them remain in the dreadful “friend-zone” when all they have ever wanted is to be the main man in some of you ladies’ lives. Lol.
How many times have you heard “He’s my brother” from a girl you thought you were ‘courting?’. It’s because you decided to balance and build a house in the friend zone.
First of all, lets understand what the “friend-zone” is. The friend zone is the most dreaded category in the relationship between a man and a woman.

The Urban dictionary describes the friend-zone as “What you attain after you fail to impress a woman you’re attracted to. Usually initiated by the woman saying, “You’re such a good friend”. Usually associated with long days of suffering and watching your love interest hop from one bad relationship to another. Verb tense is “Friend-ed”.”
Men, in order to avoid being friend-zoned, DO NOT…I repeat…DO NOT agree to be “just friends” and do not accept that introduction. If she ever introduces you as “a friend”, which she eventually will, complete her statement with, “for now”. This will help her understand that you’re not here to play.When you meet a female you are attracted to and you want her to be your girlfriend, just go for it. Let your intentions be known. Although some women may not verbalize it, we females are attracted to confident men that know what they want.
3. After You Get Close and She’s Still Not Budging Try To Win Her Over:
Try to win her over, sweep her off her feet. Show her why you are different, Take her on dates, buy her flowers. When you get to this point where you both have formed an actual friendship that has the potential to be something more & she tries to downplay your role in her life by calling you her “friend”, correct her immediately. It may sound ironic, but trust me, it’s not. A man that continuously states his intentions to a woman will not land in the friend zone. Tell her “No, I’m not your friend, my intentions are to be your man and not your friend”. State your intentions as often as you can. If you do not do this, you will get frustrated by the constant friend-zoning.
If you approach a female you’re attracted to and offer your friendship, what makes you think she wouldn’t end up with the suitor that came to her with clearer intentions? News flash! Attractive females attract men. Period. There’s no time to waste when it comes to going for what you want. Like Nike, just do it!

Confidence is powerful, cockiness is pitiful. Some men might think, nobody has the time to be chasing any woman around. Well my dear, chivalry is not dead, if you think chasing a woman is not your forté, it only means you have probably not found the right woman yet. Get over yourself and go chase a woman till you get her. You men love the chase. After all, nothing good comes easy right?
5. Never Let Her Get Too Comfortable With You:
Don’t live in the friend-zone so long that the woman you’re attracted to becomes so comfortable with you that she can undress herself around you, fart and do the things you probably thought pretty girls don’t do. Next thing you know, she’ll be married to the asshole that made his intentions clear from the start while you’re left alone being the official “male of honor” at her wedding.

To be honest with you men, when we females friend-zone you and you decide to stay, you become kinda like our G.B.F…’gay best-friend’. We love our gay besties but our relationship with them is just like the ones we share with our female friends and if you ever land into the friend zone, the relationship you’ll get will simply become a “brotherly” thing.
I can only imagine how disheartening it must be to want someone so badly, but yet, you’re forced to settle with being just friends with them because that’s all you think you can get. I think that’s a very torturous position to be in and you should quite frankly, have higher aspirations than that.

Some females even go as far as telling their guy friends about their relationship problems. These friend-zoned guys are always there for them, the shoulders to lean on. These ladies trust them with their personal life and somehow these friend zoned guys are there while these ladies go from one bad relationship to the next.
Ladies, when will you realize? The guy wiping your tears break up after break up is a gem compared to the pebble in the toxic relationships you have been putting yourself through?
On the bright side, being friend-zoned is not a bad thing after all. The best kinds of relationships are those where the bond of friendship is the foundation. Nothing beats knowing your partner first as a friend, then as a lover. Even when your relationship suffers during fights, the friendship you both share will be the magnet that brings you back together.
