Ahead oh his inauguration swearing in on Friday,May 29th, president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari has rejected a ministerial list submitted to him by governors of his party and party leaders of the states.
According to a credible source, Buhari said itis not proper for the governors to dictate his ministers for him when they themselves appoint commissioners of their own in their respective states.
“He is insisting that no one has the right to appoint ministers for him since he would not appoint commissioners for any of the state governors,” the source said. Buhari is also said to have conveyed his position on the ministerial list to the national leadership of the party for onward communication to the governors.

Very logical and a sensible position if the environment will be a sane one. Most Ministers tend to run a parallel government at State levels once appointed and as such the governors want to prevent that from happening.
