Forbes has released their 100 most powerful women in the world list and Nigeria’s billionaire Folorunsho Alakija & Outgoing Minister of finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala are on the list, which also includes Michelle Obama, Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Swift, Hilary Clinton, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf and many others.

According to Forbes, This is a definitive annual audit of the foremost heads of state, iconic entrepreneurs and CEOS, celebrity role models, billionaire activists, and pioneer philanthropists, all ranked by money, media momentum, spheres of influence and impact Okonjo-Iweala is number 48 this year (#44 in 2014) & Alakija who is worth $2.1 billion is number 87 (#96 in 2014)
