According to reports. this Professor of Islamic Studies, University of Maiduguri, Prof. Tijjani El-Miskin was among those who passed away in Saudi Arabia, during the Mecca Stampede on Thursday, 24th September, 2015.
He went to undertake his religious duty and died in the stampede that erupted during the ritual of the symbolic stoning the devil.
May his soul rest in peace.
