The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed Dec. 5 for the conduct of supplementary election to conclude the governorship poll in Kogi, which held on Saturday.
A statement by the commission in Abuja on Tuesday said that the exercise would be conducted in the 91 polling units where voting was cancelled on Saturday due to some irregularities.
According to the statement signed by INEC’s Secretary, Mrs Augusta Ogakwu, the commission will also allow the All Progressives Congress (APC) to replace its governorship candidate, the late Prince Abubakar Audu, in the election.
