Arsenal are set to make a £35million bid for Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich, according to reports.
The Gunners need a proven striker to top off their squad ahead of the new Premier League season, and have been strongly linked with Karim Benzema of Real Madrid.
However, with that deal dragging on, reports last week said Arsenal would turn to Bayern’s
Lewandowski, and now the Daily Express says a £35m bid is set to go in.
Lewandowski is a proven source of goals having scored 17 times for Bayern last season, following an insane record of 103 goals in 186 games last term.
Bayern are likely to want more for the player, and Arsenal have huge cash reserves to dip into to get this one over the line.
